Meet the New Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel

renaissanceTampaHave you been to the International Plaza shopping mall in Tampa?  If so, you may have noticed the Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel, owned by the Marriott.  The building has remained very popular because of its central location near some of the best shopping, dining, and entertainment.  If you haven’t been to or stayed at the 293-room hotel, you may not recognize the all new Renaissance Tampa the next time you see it.

The Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel has recently completed a major $10 million renovation project that was one year in the making.  Guests will now find a newly updated hotel lobby, updated guest rooms with a new nautical theme, improved outdoor patios, and an updated private dining room located in the hotel’s own Pelagia Trattoria restaurant.  These new improvements include an all-new paint and color scheme, all-new décor and furnishings, and a communal seating area where guests can enjoy the various cocktails and cuisine served by the restaurant.

Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel is located at 4200 Jim Walter Boulevard Tampa, Florida 33607.  Some of the hotel’s amenities include a swimming pool, fitness facility, space for meetings and events, and more.  Besides International Plaza and all of its dining and entertainment, the hotel is only minutes from Tampa’s Steinbrenner Field baseball stadium which is also near Raymond James Stadium, the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
